How to begin

01/

If someone you love has recently passed away, we want to start by saying how sorry we are, and offer our sincerest condolences. Hopefully, you've had a chance to look at 'What we do' to see if we are any kind of fit. We also encourage you to call us at 202-957-4447 as soon as possible to know if we are available and to have a chat to get to know you and learn how we can help.

02/

It's also assumed that you've been working with a funeral home. Even perhaps, a faith leader or not, on the internment. Where ever you are in this challenging process, we are here for you. Again, feel free to call us at 301-587-6267 or 202-957-4447.

After you've thought about how many guests you would like to invite, what venue that fits best for your Celebration Memorial, and What Date and Time the event will be, the next thing to think about is 'How Long' the event will be.

There are a lot of things to factor into planning the Time-line. If you are renting a venue, you might be renting it for 6 hours, 8 hours, or the day. Check with your venue on how many hours you'll be getting.

A good starting place question is to ask yourself when renting a venue is, 'Where do I want to put the time emphasis on - the Memorial and Remembrances, or the Reception, or both? Note: Vendors typically need two hours to set up (or more) and one hour to break down. So, if you're having a three hour event, you'll effectively have three hours to fit the Memorial and Reception into. Talk to your venue rental manager, caterer and us before you send out your invitations. Here's a typical Time-Line for a six hour event including catering and audio-video (or click Here for link to share):
