Potomac Talent is a boutique special event agency based in the Washington, DC area since 1997. Our market is primarily the mid-Atlantic with a focus on the Greater Washington, DC area for corporate events, social events, and life events. We enjoy working with a wide variety of people, from full-time event professionals to folks who have only imagined having entertainment for their event. From intimate family or private events to festivals for thousands, we approach all opportunities with respect and meticulous care.

Our philosophy is to approach every special event holistically. By controlling content (music, entertainment, and talent), with production (audio, video, event technology, and logistics), along with event management (someone in charge of putting it all together), we can better tell your story, support your brand or message. Potomac Talent is very unique in the industry because it's rare to have three equal skill sets that are fundamentally intrinsic to any event in such a large way. We know how to best leverage all three skills to save you valuable time and save your money by avoiding equipment redundancy costs while ensuring that there is continuity across all three sectors.
Potomac Talent is also a 'Buyer-Broker' Agency, which allows us to be objective in our recommendations for entertainment or production options. Executive Producer & CEO
Eric is your primary contact, adviser, and producer. A serial entrepreneur and former rock'n'roll touring and recording artist, Eric is a well known and respected by his peers and has an uncanny knack for suggesting just the right entertainment. He's also an accomplished video producer, live event producer, and production manager. He knows his stuff with event technology, logistics, and A/V for any size event.
Cynthia Cathcart
CFO & Music Consultant
Cynthia is your primary contact for billing questions. She's also a professional musician and expert in Classical and Celtic music. She's an International Scottish Harp Champion, Recording Artist, Concert Pianist, Teacher, Educator, Author, and Musicologist. She's also a first rate Stage Manager, problem solver, and one smart cookie. Cynthia is Potomac Talent's friendly and fun life-line when things get intense.
Taffy
Office Manager
Meet our office pup, Taffy. Not much can get by this adorable six-year-old rescue. She's somewhat of a therapy dog who helps to lighten anyone's emotional load she comes in contact. Typically she's curled up under our desks or entertaining clients with fetch. Outside of work, she likes long walks, loves adventures and car rides, meeting small children, sniffing everything, and enjoys cheese treats. She even has her own Facebook Page 'Following Taffy.'
